Crystal room

This is one of the settings in a story that I'm writing. It took a while to draw, since I'm not use to doing landscapes. However I'm quite pleased with the results.

It was done with graphite and watercolours on paper.

Today's drawings.

The last one was done for class. First we had to draw a chair, then rip it apart and glue the parts together on a coloured piece of paper.

Today's drawings

Here are the drawings that I did today. The first two are nude studies done in charcoal. I found a website called www.artyposes.com which has a bunch of reference photos for artists to draw from.
The next is a photo of a picture I'm working on.
The third is a doodle of a skateboarding tiger that I drew in a lecture.

New characters

Here are some new character designs for a story, that I'm writing.

Watercolours

These drawings/ (paintings?), were done using graphite pencils, watercolours and acrylics for the black background.

I'm working on improving my realism, as well as trying to create a style that makes my work stand out.

The exercise was to copy one of the artists that we were studying and abstract it... I wasn't very good at the abstracting part though.
